It's been a week filled with feelings and emotions, as we've continued to be reminded of the sweet and powerful life that Tessie Schweitzer lived and also look ahead to new ways we can work together.
One way we are bringing all of these things together is by naming our accountability award after Tessie at this year's virtual Community Partnership Celebration. Please join us on November 16. Tickets are free and sponsorships are still available. We will announce our award winners next week.
Our healthcare survey to learn how families experience their child's healthcare is still open. Please respond if you live in Mississippi and have a child between 0 and 21, regardless of whether or not your child has a disability. We will be scheduling more early childhood focus groups soon.
Your friends on Sesame Street are here to support you and your family during the COVID-19 health crisis. We understand that these are very stressful times; our daily lives have been disrupted, and we are all coping with uncertainty. As we create a new sense of normalcy, it's important that we take care of ourselves, so that we can best care for our children.
