In the midst of the chaos, uncertainty and scariness of COVID, it has been a refreshing delight to celebrate May as Mental Health Awareness month with all of you.I am grateful to the City of Jackson and Mangia Bene Restaurant Management (Bravo Italian Restaurant and Bar, Broadstreet Baking Company and Sal and Mookie's) and all of our provider partners for getting out the word far and wide about the importance of children's mental health and partnering with families. Thank you to all of you who have joined us for any of our activities this month. It has been especially touching to see your openness to learning about family-driven practice and new ways of doing things. You can still join us this week for Wednesday's webinar on Family Driven Practice for Providers, our virtual support group for families Thursday at noon, and our Friday #ApartButNotAlone webinar: Supporting the Social/Emotional Health of Young Children.In June we will be honoring dads and all that goes with being a dad. We will also be asking you to join us and some of our favorite partners at some great virtual events throughout the month, including the NAMI MS State Conference, the MS disAbility MegaConference and the National Council for Behavioral Health's Hill Day at Home.Watch your inbox, Facebook and our Events page for more details!
