ACCP Announces New Regents
Following a vote of the membership, the American College of Clinical Pharmacology ® (ACCP) is pleased to announce the results of the 2020 Regents Election. Newly-elected Regents for the 2021 - 2025 term are:

  • Dionna J. Green, MD, FCP
  • Craig W. Hendrix, MD, FCP
  • Anne J. Paccaly, PharmD, PhD, FCP
  • Peter H. Wiernik, MD, FCP

The primary responsibility of the Board of Regents is to set policy and annual or longer term goals and objectives, including but not limited to: overseeing the transaction of business required to fulfill the purpose and objectives of ACCP; regulating and conserving the property interest of ACCP; overseeing expenditures and approving or disapproving the recommendations of Standing and other Committees. Support and guidance from the Board of Regents will be critical as ACCP looks to the future and evolves to better serve the needs of its Members. 

The new Regents will begin a five-year term in February 2021. Please join us in congratulating Drs. Green, Hendrix, Paccaly and Wiernik in their new roles!
Dionna J. Green, MD, FCP
Deputy Director, Pediatric Therapeutics/Office of Commissioner, US Food & Drug Administration

Dr. Green joined ACCP in 2016 and became a Fellow in 2020. She has served as the AAMC CFAS Representative since 2019 and was the 2018 Annual Meeting Program Committee Co-chair. In 2017 & 2018 Dr. Green was a Faculty Speaker at the ACCP Annual Meeting and was an Abstract Reviewer in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She has also submitted multiple manuscripts to the ACCP journals.
Craig W. Hendrix, MD, FCP
Professor, Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology), Johns Hopkins Univ

Dr. Hendrix joined ACCP in 2018 and became a Fellow in 2019. He was a Faculty Speaker at the 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2019 Annual Meetings and received the ACCP Distinguished Investigator Award in 2018.  
Anne J. Paccaly, PharmD, PhD, FCP
Director, Clinical Pharmacology, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc

Dr. Paccaly has been an ACCP Member since 1999 and became a Fellow in 2011. She served on the Honors & Award Committee from 2006 to 2011 and mentored Students & Trainees from 2013 to 2019. Dr. Paccaly was actively involved in the Annual Meeting Program Committee in 2015 & 2018 and was an Abstract Reviewer in 2013, 2015 & 2018. She was also a member of the Digital Learning Committee from 2009 to 2010.
Peter H. Wiernik, MD, FCP
President, Cancer Research Fdtn

Dr. Wiernik joined ACCP as a Fellow in 1974 and is one of the longest standing Members of the society. He previously served on the Board of Regents from 2012 - 2017. Currently, he is a member of the Public Policy Committee and Honors & Awards Committee. In 2012, he was a member of the Annual Meeting Program Committee and from 2015 to 2016 he was a member of the CFAS Core Entrustables Committee. In 2019, Dr. Wiernik was honored with Nathaniel T Kwit Memorial Distinguish Service Award and was recognized in 2019 in the ACCP "Excellence in Achievement" Program.
