LG and Marriott Collaborate on Next-Generation Guest Room Technology

LG Electronics and Marriott International are developing a cloud-based guest room entertainment and technology platform powered by LG smart hotel TVs.


The platform brings entertainment, hotel content, and connected room functions into one guest-facing system. Hotel teams can also monitor TV health, performance, and status across rooms, properties, and participating brands.


An initial pilot will cover 40 Marriott hotels in the United States and Canada. The platform supports linear television, streaming, FAST channels, more than 40 OTT applications, and 250 channels.
