Tech Tip of the Month

How to Obtain Fast Internet Speed

1. Perform software updates. Did you know that updates often contain patches for your device’s network adapters, which will keep your connection running smoothly? The firmware doesn’t update on its own, so it’s important to stay on top of it!

2. If your devices can’t connect to your home internet or you find the connection is dragging, the best first step is to restart the modem and the router. Rebooting will help sync your devices if they disconnect. Did you know a new IP address is assigned to your cell phone or laptop each time you bring them into your home? This can cause a mismatch inside the router, which a reboot should fix.

3. If you find the internet is slow due to too many people working and learning from your home, it may be best to consider a mesh Wi-Fi network (essentially a Wi-Fi extender).

Identity for SAP S/4HANA®

Anchor Software has partnered with Uniserv to offer our SAP S/4HANA customers a better way to identify duplicates in their database.

The migration to S/4HANA is already a major process and investment of your time. Why let bad data creep in and mess up your system? Uniserv has created the perfect solution to help identify duplicates. In a digital world, incorrect data can be costly and dilute the quality of your customer database.

Our solution combines the high-performance fuzzy search in SAP HANA with Anchor's many years of experience in identifying duplicate records.

How Does it Work?

1.   Identity for SAP S/4HANA uses the built-in search function in SAP to generate a list of possible duplicates.

2.   The Anchor technology selects the relevant, unique candidates.

3.   The user receives the identified duplicates as output within the SAP system.

This output includes ranking, scoring, and detailed match evaluation.

USPS July Price Increase

First-Class Mail Prices

With the July 10th, 2022 price increase just around the corner here is what you can expect to see happen in MaxPresort OS.

Papery Availability

In acknowledgement of the nationwide paper availability challenges, the Postal Service and mailing industry have developed a two-step process to explore the opportunity to expand paper options outside of current specifications to enable the continued production and entry of mail.

Step 1. Alternative paper may be tested and approved for use by Postal engineering to meet machinability requirements for specific formats.

Step 2. Exceptions to use approved paper for specific commercial mailings will be considered on a case by case basis. Exception requests for mailings must be sent to and approved by the Pricing and Classification Service

A complete set of instructions for tests (Step 1 above) has been posted on our Postal Pro website along with the list of paper that has been approved based on Postal engineering tests to meet machinability requirements for specific formats: Letter Mail Paper Testing Instructions | PostalPro (

USPS Stamps

The stamp pays homage to the mariachi performers. This stamp includes 5 musicians dressed in a traje de charro, the traditional outfit of the mariachi. Each one is playing one of the 5 iconic instruments, guitar, guitarrón, vihuela, violin, and trumpet. The geometric shapes in the background of each stamp are a nod to Mexican villages where mariachi music originated.

Pre-order your stamps now as they release on July 15th, 2022.
