Fall is here and so is our annual Season of Stewardship. This year our theme is “Generosity is a Team Sport.” With your help we can hit the ball out of the park! Generosity has always been the attitude at St. Clement’s. Every one of you has supported our church by donating your time, your many talents and your money. Please take some time before November 17th to complete and return your pledge for 2025 so that the vestry can start setting our budget for 2025. You'll be receiving a pledge card in the coming days or can pledge online at saint-clements.com/give

Rev. Zac is now writing a blog entitled Anchored in Christ. Check it out now on the church website: saint-clements.com

His latest post shares a helpful article on why and how we should pray for our political leaders.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands! (Psalm 90:17)

Members of the congregation may contact Rev. Zac if they are interested in taking on one of these tasks and set a time when it is convenient for them to do so. You may certainly join forces with someone else for a more difficult task, or you may just decide to take on something on your own. We encourage you to take on a task only if it is something you would personally like to do. Some tasks may take more than one visit, depending on your availability. That’s okay! Tools will be provided as needed.

Each week, as tasks are accomplished, we will thank those who helped.

Thanks to Jerry Simkins (Laura's husband) and Rev. Zac for working together to clean out the gutters last week.

Current Tasks:

Spot clean chairs in the church.

Use a rake to level out mulch pile.

Weed garden beds in front of church.

Make sure to join us on Sunday November 24 when Bishop Megan will be joining us to celebrate St. Clement's Day! The service that morning will be confirmation service with our own Molly Rowland and three folks from St. Luke's Auburn being confirmed by the bishop. Debbi Honeycutt and Sharon Burke-Polana will also be making an reaffirmation of faith. The Ukulele Gospel Group will be playing during coffee hour and we will have cake to celebrate our time together.

Michelle Masarro, the photographer who came and took some photos of St. Clement's in June will be coming again for our confirmation service. Last time she took some wonderful photos, a few of which are up on our website, and once again she's offering her services free of charge. Like last time, if you would not like to be in any of the photos taken on the 24th, please let Rev. Zac.

This year we will have our regular Christmas Eve service at 4pm. Most Episcopal Churches have a service on Christmas Day as well. Since the pandemic we have only had a Christmas Day service in 2022. We would like to know if you would like to have a Christmas Day service this year and at what time. Please click this link and fill out the form to register your interest (even if you are not interested). Thanks.
