Dear Conference,

After a reflective time of Holy Week, I am living in a sense of a “long hope” that the resurrected Christ offers us still. The very resurrected Christ that transformed the world is still transforming communities and lives and this reminds me of just how valuable our work truly is as a Conference. As we like to say in our vision statement, “Together, we equip churches for health, growth, and transformation through collective wisdom to live into a culture of abundance rooted in God’s grand redemptive work in the world.”

No more is such redemptive work clearer than our congregations that are being transformed and resurrected through exploring a new future in times of transition. From Ellenberger UCC in Indianapolis to St. Peter’s in South Bend, St. Stephen’s and Plymouth in Louisville to St. Paul’s in Evansville, the Holy Spirit is sparking new life through our new Conference model for transitional ministry that is helping churches identify steps for where God is calling them next.

When you give to the Annual Support Fund for the Indiana Kentucky Conference, you are a part of the “Together, We.” Because of your assistance,

• Together, We help train, cultivate, and provide tools for stability and longevity within the church.

• Together, We help churches that are in transition, support clergy, and support congregational leaders.

• Together, We work to support, educate, and advocate around matters of anti-racism and mental health.

• Together, We support global and ecumenical partnerships that change the lives of youth and young adults and congregations.

• Together, We offer support and help rebuild communities impacted by natural disasters like tornados and flooding.

We are more than an organization; we are the arms and the feet of Jesus and we need your help in continuing to build upon this work into the future. We are dedicated to fulfilling our mission to live in covenant, connecting, and equipping local ministries to love and serve like Jesus. We hope that you would consider being a part of the mission by donating today.
