Employee Spotlight:

Casey Branthoover celebrates 3 years with CIS!

  • What is one thing that has changed in your time at CIS and one thing that has remained the same? The biggest change since my time here is the creation and launch of the Innovation Department, which AmeriCorps is now housed under. One thing that has stayed the same is the passion people have for serving in communities.
  • What is your favorite memory from your time at CIS? One of my favorite memories at CIS is the time I helped lead icebreakers at our Fall Staff this past year. Taking time to talk on stage plus having fun playing games together for our first in-person All Staff after COVID was so much fun.
  • When you aren’t working, what is your favorite way to spend time? When not at CIS, I like playing video games, volunteering with the Austin Center for Grief and Loss, hanging out by the pool, or enjoying a drink and some trivia with friends.

  • Fun Fact? I have a very large immediate family- I am 1 of 10 kids and the second oldest.
