We are looking forward to seeing everyone this Spring, whether it's in the 'city' for
 our April 21st program, or in our own backyard, at McFarlane Park for the Easter Egg Hunt on April 9th!

April is full of lots of fun programs and events for you and your family! And, we continue to support our charity, Wellspring Living, through fundraisers like Yoga and our members' contributions.

LivingLiving in Our City: Field Trip!

Join us for our April meeting - we're going on a field trip!   The Beltline is a vibrant new 
part of our city -- a former railway corridor around the core of  Atlanta   under development in stages as a  multi-use trail .  
You'll see art of all kinds, spring in bloom, and your city from a whole new perspective.  

We will meet at in the Atlanta Country Club parking lot on the right at 10:30 a.m.to carpool. We will take the 20 min. drive to Ponce City Market, walk on the Beltline for about 30 minutes and then enjoy lunch in Ponce City Market.  

You must RSVP to attend. Wear your ath-leisure and comfy shoes. We look forward to a great turnout for one of our last events of the CPWC year!

Garden Club: Save the date: May 3rd!
The Club will meet on Wednesday, May 3rd at Pat Smith's home for a 
hands-on flower arranging work shop with a guest instructor in floral design. The Club recently  toured the Cathedral of St. Philip Flower Show.

Needlers Group 
The group held its first meeting on February 24th. If you are interested in any needle projects especially knitting and crochet, and attending a future meeting, please contact  Anne Power  (678-773-5379).

Yoga Interest Group: Save the date: April 3rd!
Join Belinda Vogel on Mondays at 11:30 am at Linda Pace's house (Rivercliffe I; 4853 Rivercliffe Dr.) to practice yoga and contribute to WellSpring Living. In a few short weeks, this Group has raised an additional $430 for Wellspring Living! Beginners are welcome! The hour you spend breathing, moving, and centering will energize the rest of your day.
  • Drop-in for $10 or buy 4 classes for $35 or 6 for $50. Cash or check to CPWC will be accepted; the fees will be donated to Wellspring Living at the closing luncheon. 
  • If you have your own yoga mat please bring it with you. If you don't have a mat, there will be a few available for use along with a larger supply of yoga blankets and blocks.

Hiking Club: Save the date: April 17th!
Please join us for a hike at Island Ford Trail in Roswell. We will meet at the ACC at 9 am on Monday, April 17 to carpool. RSVP to  Jean Dole  ( 404-433-5551) or  JoAnn Hammermaster ( 703-581-3085).

Daytime Book Club: Save the date: April 10th!
The Daytime Book Club will meet at 10am on Monday, April 10, at Millie Ore's home. We will

The Club will read Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty. 
We meet at 7pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month and  anyone interested can  contact Veronica Bridges .

Beth and I would like to apologize for canceling our March meeting. We did so based on a very limited response to the event. We are very happy to say that Jane Schlachter was very gracious about the cancellation and has enthusiastically agreed to join us at our next meeting, Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. Pat will host at her home (4364 Classic Links Court). 

Jane, a Family Law attorney, will present "Family Law in a Nutshell."  She can cover a myriad of topics and questions we may have.  Potential subjects can include Grandparents' Rights, Mediation, Restraining Orders, Prenuptials/Anti-Nuptials, Divorce. 

PLEASE RSVP AT LEAST TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE so we can plan for refreshments, etc.  patricia.iaffaldano@gmail.com   If you are working at a polling place that day, please come by whenever you are able.
