October is an extraordinary New England month. With it comes cooler fall air, beautiful foliage, and a feeling of change. Here at The Arc, we have several exciting changes to share with you.

First, our administrative offices are now open to the public by appointment. As always you are welcome to call or virtually meet with any of our staff via Zoom. But for those of you who may prefer in-person assistance at our Family Support Center in Plymouth or at our Falmouth office, you can now visit our online calendar to book an appointment.

We're also happy to share the first edition of our Impact Report which will be mailed soon to our stakeholders and supporters and is accessible through the link embedded below. Highlighted throughout the report are amazing accomplishments of the people we support and our staff over this past year – examples that demonstrate the criticalimpact your ongoing support has on services and supports for people with disabilities and their families.

Lastly, elections are just a few weeks away. Please take advantage of the resources we have shared on our social media and website to familiarize yourself with the voting process, make note of important dates and deadlines and exercise your right to vote.

I hope you are staying healthy and enjoying the beauty that is fall in New England.

Sincerely,
Mary Valachovic
Executive Director

Cape Cod Needs Assessment

The Arc is looking to gather data regarding the needs of the Cape Cod community. If you are located on the Cape and could spare 3-minutes to complete our survey, we'd greatly appreciate it. Your feedback will help us plan how to most effectively  support the Upper Cape Cod community.

You can also help by sharing the survey link with anyone you know who lives on the Cape!
Administrative Office Reopening
We're pleased to announce that our administrative offices are now open by appointment to the public.

Our Plymouth administrative office is available for in-person appointments between 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday. Our Falmouth office is available for in-person appointments between 11am - 3pm Monday through Thursday.

These hours will be expanded as re-opening continues, so stay tuned!

Assistance and information is always available via phone at (508) 732-9292, and virtual Zoom appointments are available Monday-Friday as well.
Elections 2020
The 2020 elections are less than a month away! Voting is critical to ensure that services such as those provided by The Arc remain fully funded and able to support each and every person in the community with disabilities.

If you have questions about the voting process, are unsure of voting deadlines or would just feel more comfortable knowing what to expect when voting, two great resources are available to you.

The Arc of Massachusetts has published #TheArcVotes - a web page dedicated to ensuring that people with disabilities have all the information they need to make a plan to vote.

The American Association of People with Disabilities has published this guide on voting in Massachusetts for people with disabilities as part of their ReVup! campaign.
The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod appreciates your support!
