The Arc Stands in Unity in Fight for Equality

The Arc Lane County advocates consistently and ardently for the equal rights of people who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. We stand against hate and prejudice against all people, including people of color, the LGBTQ community, indigenous peoples and every marginalized population in this country. The Arc Lane County will continue to stand in solidarity , love and unity with all who continue to fight for equality, freedom and justice for everyone.
Summer Work Program to Start in July

Teens and young adults ages 16 to 21 years are invited to participate in The Arc Lane County's new
 Summer Work Program , starting July 6.

The program will teach work readiness, money management, digital citizenship, effective communication and more in a virtual format. To learn more about this exciting opportunity, email Tisha or Heather .
Staycation Activity Kits

Thanks to a generous grant from the Oregon Community Foundation, The Arc has put together new activity kits for families to enjoy at home this summer.

Each week, participating families will receive a new Staycation Around the World kit loaded with fun activities, food and crafts related to different countries. Children will learn about the cultures of Peru, Ireland, Italy, Egypt, Japan and India during their six-week staycation! To learn more about the kits, contact Nancy .
The Arc to Host Play Your Part

Save the date! On August 21, The Arc Lane County will host Play Your Part , an exciting virtual event to benefit the building of the first phase of the Arc Park .

Thanks to generous grants The Arc was recently awarded, we only need to raise $80K more to complete the entire first phase of the park.

Play Your Part will include a silent auction filled with exciting packages for people to bid on in their comfort of their homes. The silent auction will be followed by a spectacular live event on August 21 that will include a fabulous oral auction, a performance by the winner of the Play Your Part talent show and more!

Arc Awaits ODDS Clearance
Before Reopening Doors

The Arc is eager to open its doors and welcome people back. We will follow directions from the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services on when it is safe to do this. Until then, The Arc continues to put safety protocols into place and is developing a comprehensive re-entry plan to keep our employees, friends and visitors safe and healthy. We certainly miss seeing everyone. Please stay safe and healthy!
