Hundreds Celebrate The Holidays With The Arc

The Arc rolled out the holiday cheer for our annual Holiday Open House on Monday, December 4. Hundreds of our closest friends turned out to celebrate the season with us at our spacious home in Denver West.

 

Adult advocate Jeanne Weis and her merry band of musicians entertained our guests with a festive blend of Celtic and holiday music, while Santa and magician Amy Arpan brought lots of joy to folks of all ages. We’d like to extend a hearty thanks to everyone who attended for their strong support of The Arc and our work on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Autism Community Store Pictures With Santa

The Autism Community Store invites everyone in the community to take advantage of this special opportunity to introduce your child to a patient and understanding Santa. No rush, no lines, no drama and no judgment.

Register Today for NSCD Sports Mini Camps

Join the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) for three days of different and exciting sports! One day will include instruction in team and individual sports, along with their fun and challenging NSCD Moves! obstacle course. The second activity will be shooting sports such as archery and air rifle, and the final activity will be indoor rock climbing. Participants must be independent in self-care or provide a personal care provider who is available to them throughout the length of the camp.

Dates: December 26-28 & January 2-4

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Where: Drop off and pick up at Broncos Stadium at Mile High. Activities will be at various locations in the metro area.

Price: $250 for all 3 days, or $100/day
