Girls Who Code Fall Registration
|
|
In 2017, only 1 of 4 people in the computing workforce was a woman. This leaves critical voices out of the conversation, limiting creativity and innovation in tech.
UWM's Girls Who Code Club
addresses this by helping girls discover the benefits of computer science across careers. Girls learn to write code, solve problems, and create computer programs and websites--in a fun and relaxed environment.
Registration for the Fall classes opens on August 1st and there will be options for beginner and experienced coders.
