“I am thankful the most important key in history was invented. It's not the key to your house, your car, your boat, your safety deposit box, your bike lock or your private community. It's the key to order, sanity, and peace of mind. The key is 'Delete.'"
– Elayne Boosler
Welcome to The Arena Newsletter
Every other Thursday, we share inspiring ideas, tips, and articles that will keep YOU in the Arena. This week, we're exploring the delete piece of the design-delegate-defer-delete cycle.
In the Arena
In the Arena, what you're not doing is as important as what you're doing. The most efficient approach is to decline a project from the outset. And, sometimes you catch yourself before accepting a project you'll later delete. Often, though, you'll accept a project and later realize that it doesn't fit your commitments, time, or interests. Now you have the opportunity to communicate with the person expecting the project: What new agreements are possible? If the new agreement is that the project isn't needed after all, you get to free up mental space and time by... deleting!

Bonus if you're in the Arena App: To delete a project, just tap the trash icon and confirm with, "Yes."
