Where is Our Industry with MFA?
Help us by taking Survey
The Big I Agents Council for Technology (ACT) knows our industry's use of multi-factor authentication is growing. In an effort to provide our members with a better understanding and awareness of this technology, we'd like to know your thoughts and opinions on the various types of authentications being implemented.

Please provide your critical input by completing this short survey. We have designed the survey to provide specific questions to individually target our three stakeholder groups: Agents, Carriers, and Technology Providers.

All responses are completely anonymous and the results will be shared with our Security Issues workgroup, as well as all ACT members.

Remember to Renew Your Agency's ACORD End User License

Jesse Watters Featured Speaker at Big I Legislative Conference
The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (the Big “I”) today announced that Jesse Watters, host of Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” co-host of “The Five,” and author of the No. 1 New York Times Best Seller, “How I Saved the World,” will be a featured speaker at the 2022 Big “I” Legislative Conference.

Watters will chat with Big “I" president & CEO Bob Rusbuldt on Friday, April 29 about the latest headlines, current events, insights on issues affecting small businesses, and his anecdotes from his experiences rising through the ranks of Fox News. Watters joined Fox News in 2002 and made his on-camera debut in 2003 as a correspondent for “The O'Reilly Factor.” In March 2017, he aired an exclusive interview with President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One.

The Big “I” Legislative Conference is the insurance industry’s best-attended, most effective legislative meeting. This year’s event will take place in person April 27-29, at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown Hotel. The annual Legislative Conference provides an opportunity for Big “I” members to discuss important issues with their congressional representatives. Top topics this year include taxes, flood insurance, insurance regulation, health care and other issues impacting independent agents and small businesses.

DIFI Director Daniels Appointed to NAIC and CSBS
DIFI Director Evan Daniels recently was appointed to serve in 2022 on innovation-focused committees established respectively by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) and the Conference of State Banking Supervisors (“CSBS”). Director Daniels will serve as co-vice chair of the NAIC’s newly established standing committee on Innovation, Cybersecurity & Technology and CSBS’s Fintech and Innovation Steering Group. Both committees are charged with monitoring, evaluating, and providing regulatory recommendations regarding innovative products and services.

“Arizona continues to build momentum as a place that welcomes innovation, and I look forward to helping lead the discussion about when regulation is needed and when regulators should step out of the way,” said Director Daniels. “At a minimum, regulators should seek to be fully engaged in broadening their understanding of what is happening in the marketplace and how the industries they regulate are changing. These committees exist to help state regulators do exactly that, and I am honored to represent Arizona on them.”
