Dear Colleagues,
The second edition of our semesterly newsletter, Link, is here! The Faculty Diversity Collaborative (FDC) continues to support faculty with resources and programming to aid in holistic development and advancement. This edition's theme, "The Art and Practice of Mentoring," speaks to the essential need for such support systems in an institution as large as Rutgers. We also highlight our inaugural Mutual Mentoring Grant Program launch, as well as articles focusing on faculty mentorship.
As the Spring semester wraps up, we encourage you to register for two upcoming National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD)-led workshops designed to help you maximize your summer productivity and overcome writing procrastination. These sessions will help you set ambitious goals while finding the support you need for effective follow-through. Join us to also hear about balancing work-life integration at the end of the semester.
The 2023 FDC program application cycle opens in July for all our signature cohort programs: the Rutgers Connection Network (RCN) Mentoring Program, OASIS Leadership and Professional Development Program, Early Career and Racial Equity (E-CARE) Program, and Identity and Leadership (I-LEAD) Program. We invite you to apply and explore our programs and resources further as we strive to build, retain, and advance a diverse faculty.
Sincerely,
The Faculty Diversity Collaborative Team
