Happy Holidays

from

The Artisans

VOICE OF THE GAVEL

Hello Brother and Sister Artisans;

I hope everyone had a nice holiday season. I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy new year.

It's been a great first year as the Most Excellent Master Artisan. I really enjoyed being able to meet a lot of Artisans and having the time to talk to you. We have had some great trips in 2024, a Carnival cruise to Aruba, the Hummelstown Railroad bus trip with lunch at the Macaroni Grill and a visit to the AACA Car Museum, a bus trip to the Magic and Wonder Theater with a smorgasbord lunch at the Shady Maple restaurant. All the trips were well attended and everyone had a great time.

We are very excited about our recent move to our new location in Penndel. I'm sure you will all be pleased with our new location as there is plenty of parking and it is also handicap accessible.

Since the bus trip to Sight 'n' Sound was so exceptional we are having another bus trip to Sight 'n' Sound to see "Noah", with family dining at Hershey Farm, on May 13th. You can call the office for tickets but hurry before they sell out. There is also my MEMA 9-night Royal Caribbean cruise to Canada/New England Sept. 4th - 13th, 2025.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming events. Continue to check the website and/or Facebook for all upcoming events and social activities. Hope all of you stay safe and healthy.

Fraternally,

Helen Szafran

Most Excellent Master Artisan

St. John's Annual Junior Halloween Party

The Big Move from Bridesburg and Rhawnhurst to Penndel PA.

Artisans/St. John's/Haddon Christmas Party

The Artisans/St. John's/Haddon Christmas Party was a big hit with our membership this year. This past December we held the party at the Quartett Club. The party sold out very quickly this year with many people liking the new location and earlier time for the event. There was plenty to eat and drink along with enough door prizes to ensure that almost everyone went home with a nice prize. A big shoutout to Harry, Agnes and all of the helpers who worked throughout the year to ensure that everyone who attended the party had a great time.

We had over 140 door prizes ensuring that most of those who attended this great event went home with a nice prize.

Some of our helpers pictured setting up some of the four full tables of gifts.

Our Most Excellent Master Artisan, Helen Szafran, was out tearing up the dance floor.

Tod Davies, one of our set up workers posing with one of our awesome door prizes, the electric bike that Fred and Bernadine won.

New mom Pam dancing with the baby.

The hor'dvores just kept on coming.

The group was up line dancing the afternoon away to the smooth sounds of the Greg Albert band.

Jackie Lahnemann, Jane and David Scott enjoying the party.

Mike Fine clearing out the dance floor with his smooth moves.

Harry Flanagan dancing with his granddaughters and friends.

Everyone having a great time!

Elsie Fieldhouse having a great time with mom, dad and granny.

Most Excellent Inspector Kathy Schnauffer and her friends enjoying themselves.

Getting set for the party.

Director Tod Davies with family and friends.

The little bit of snow we had received the night before our event made the Christmas party seem even more festive.

Our Medical Director, Kim Kurtz, with her date Michael Wallace sitting with family and friends.

The Greg Albert Band doing a great job entertaining our guests.

The Cunningham's, Lalka's, and Spindler table.

P.M.E.M.A. Patrick Green and Nancy Jorett.

Director/PMEMA Dave Szafran with PMER/Director Bill Swirsding and his wife Laura.

Artisans of all ages enjoyed the party.

Sight '&' Sound Christmas bus trip to Lancaster

The Artisan annual Christmas bus trip as to the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster to see the show Daniel. Our members enjoyed a great show and then a nice family style dinner at the Hershey Farm restaurant.

M.E. SUPERINTENDENT LETTER

Hello Juniors!

Wow, I will be starting my second year as your Most Excellent superintendent, how quickly time is flying!

What another great year we all had with all of the cruises, game nights, day trips and just old fashioned fraternal fun we enjoyed throught this past year.

We all had fun times at the New Hall with our first Halloween Party and Junior Christmas Party held at the new location. Our next big event will be our Easter Egg Hunt and Ocean city Weekend. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website to get more information on these and our other upcoming events.

 Fraternally yours,

 Kathy Schnauffer

Most Excellent Superintendent

Junior Artisans Breakfast/Lunch with Santa

Our annual breakfast/lunch with Santa was a big hit with both the Junior and Senior Artisans who attended this fun event. After the children had eaten, they were visited by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each Junior received a nice gift from Santa. Even the old Grinch snuck in for a visit and some mischief.

St. Johns Cruisers December cruise to Aruba

Artisan activities and events in 2024

The St. Johns Cruisers had a pre-Christmas trip to the Caribbean. The group sailed on the Carnival Venezia and visited several islands. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a great time.

This past year had so many exciting activities and events that we wanted to highlight just a few of the many things the Artisans did throughout the year.
