Hanging Lake Set to Reopen in May
Hanging Lake, the National Natural Landmark in Glenwood Canyon that was largely spared during last summer’s fire, is set to reopen May 1.

Hanging Lake is a Colorado treasure and a rare example of a travertine geological formation located in the heart of Glenwood Canyon in the White River National Forest.

Visitors to Hanging Lake will still need to book their reservations ahead of time, online, at visitglenwood.com and will be able to do so beginning April 1. Tickets to hike Hanging Lake cost $12.
