The auction and raffle this week will be donated to Edgecombe County (NC) Animal Shelter's Spay and Neuter Fund. They ran out of a grant they received in 2020. To keep them from adopting out animals without spay and neutering them, the we are jumping into action to raise the funds they need. Click here to get biddin' now!
Controlling the population is the easiest way to end overcrowding in our shelters and this funding is crucial. We know people at this shelter (Aunt Kathy that handles our vest requests volunteers there) and they are dedicated and very deserving of this help. They spayed and neutered 477 animals in 2021 and another 380 this year. This program enabled ECAS to DROP their intake from 3500 to 1787 last year!
Our fundraising goal this week is $13,000 smack-a-roos! In addition to the auction, we will have a Waffle (aka raffle) and donate a portion of our online shop sales! We will send out another email when the Waffle starts.
