CalGIS 2020 Call for Workshop and Presentation Proposals
|
CalGIS 2020 - February 9-11, 2020
Long Beach, California
CalGIS invites you to share your work using GIS and geospatial methods in all application areas and disciplines. As geospatial tools and technology have permeated our world, geospatial applications are present in all aspects of our lives ranging from “traditional” uses in government, industry and academia to emerging fields of location analytics, big data, drone mapping across disciplines as diverse as journalism, tourism, marketing and many others. Regardless of how you implement geospatial technology in your work you are encouraged to share. CalGIS provides a forum for GIS practitioners from students to seasoned professions to share their experiences, lessons learned, and tips and tricks with colleagues across the state. Participation in CalGIS can be submitted in multiple formats, including presentations (individual or panel), posters and interactive maps, workshops, town halls, or any other means you’d like to suggest for best sharing your work.
The CalGIS 2020 educational program is developed through a peer review of submissions received. The members of the Planning Committee will collaboratively develop the educational program shortly after the submission deadline.
