The 18th Annual Wild & Scenic film festival is drawing near! This film festival — where activism gets inspired — combines the environmental issues we hold near & dear to our heart and with the innovative media of film. 

This event, hosted by the Friends of Butte Creek, will be held on Oct. 5th at the ARC Pavilion. The event, which includes a special dinner and silent auction, also serves as a celebration for the Friends of Butte Creek’s 25-year anniversary.

At long last the Chico Bike and Music Festival is finally here! Made possible by the South Chico Community Assistance Center and the California Climate Action Corps, this festival has all the makings of a fun-filled summer day.

The fun begins with swim at One-Mile and progresses with a bike ride to the SCCAC at 1pm. From 2-5pm you can expect plenty of games and live music from a number musicians including:

• Nono San Pedro
• Diamond Snatch Factory
• Jim Brobeck
• Rebecca K
• Coyote Whisper
• and more!

This event is totally free, but donations of cash of shelf-stable foods are highly recommended and greatly appreciated.

We are seeking a part time Bookkeeping position.

The position requires 10 hours per week with a pay rate of $30 an hour.

Lease one of our new 10x10 garden boxes! We've got four plots that are available, and come with water and access to tools and our compost stalls.
