For three full days in Tulsa, our incredible judges were hard at work from early mornings to late nights ensuring every performance was evaluated with care and expertise for Sweet Adelines around the world.

Our judges are passionate, tireless, and deeply devoted to this organization. We’re so grateful for their commitment, and we love them dearly! 

A special thank you to the incredible donors whose combined generosity of $100,000 fully funded the 2025 Judge Training in Tulsa!

Quartet singers filled Tulsa’s Downtown Hyatt for an unforgettable weekend of harmony, education, and fun!

The halls rang with laughter, barbershop chords, and even the occasional friendly T-Rex. Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far to make this event truly fantastic.

Convention week begins Monday with inspiring education sessions where you can learn, laugh, and connect with your favorite people. This year the excitement is even bigger with lots of prizes waiting to be claimed.

From there, the stage comes alive in a show of extraordinary talent and heart as quartets and choruses push their limits, competing with passion and precision for the pure love of what we do.

It is where every note vibrates with energy. Where you do not just see and hear, you become part of something bigger.

That connection shared with thousands in the audience is absolutely indescribable. Be there for every moment!

Some important convention deadlines are coming up starting with registration closing online on August 25.

You can still purchase All-Events registrations on site, but it is so much easier to take care of it now. Not to mention more time to meet and greet (let's be real, it's more of a joyful squeal and hugging reunion) when you arrive.

Single-Event passes can be purchased on site only.

Family chorus sign ups close on August 31 and hotel reservation deadlines are September 12.

Music and Sound Category Updates

Updates to the Sound and Music judging categories go into effect beginning October 2025 at the International Convention and Competition in Columbus, Ohio (USA).

A New Way to Support Your Chapters!

THRIVE (To Help Regions Increase Vibrant Engagement) is a two-year pilot program running from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2027, providing financial resources to regions to support chapter retention. 

Each region will receive a lump sum based on its number of chapters, with flexibility on how to use the funds, focusing on areas like membership, leadership, finances, marketing, and more.

Congratulations to Grant Cycle 1 2025-2026 Awardees!

For this cycle, we awarded a total of $12,050 USD to the following projects and programs: 

2025 Region 12 Mountain Harmony Camp: 

Since 2012, Region 12 has hosted the Mountain Harmony Camp. Over the three-day event, Pacific Shores Region aims to host approximately 40 young singers (ages 13+). They will teach them two barbershop songs, including choreography. Cyndi Sharp will serve as clinician, 2014 International Champion Quartet LoveNotes as song teachers, and Sarah Hodosh as visual coach/choreographer. 

Harborlites Diva Day 2026: 

On January 31, 2026, the Harborlites Chorus will sponsor its 20th Diva Day Festival. From across the Southern California area, approximately 150 high school girls will experience and learn the joy of a cappella singing and continue the very successful annual event. This year’s festival will be led by Harborlites Director Pam Pieson. 

Mid-Florida Youth Harmony Workshops:

The award-winning Toast of Tampa Chorus will host their Mid-Florida Youth Harmony Workshop. The culmination of this workshop across three separate events in Palm Beach, University of Southern Florida (Tampa), and Hillsborough County gives young women the opportunity to experience the artform of barbershop for the first time.   

Young Singers in Harmony Summer Vocal Music Exploration Camp:

Over the course of one week, young women ages 8-16 will learn the artform of barbershop performance and also its history in this fun and engaging event held by the Heart of the Valley Chorus (Region 1). Attendees are invited to showcase their art, science, and singing for friends and family under the direction of Stephanie Flinker. 

Young Women in Harmony Butterfly Chorus and Quartet Workshop: 

The Young Women in Harmony Butterfly Chorus and Quartet Workshop will be held in conjunction with Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 Winter Harmony Weekend. It features education and rehearsals for young women as well as general sessions and sessions for chorus singers, directors, and quartet singers. International Faculty Members Debbie Cleveland, Karen Breidert, and Diane Porsch will lead sessions.

The 2025 Champion Dolls Have Arrived!

Clever Girl and North Metro made their debut at the Sweet Adelines International Pop-Up Museum during the Jurassic Chords Quartet Retreat. Now, they proudly take their place among the historic champion dolls in the Hughes-Gerhke Champion Showcase at International Headquarters! Welcome to the legacy, champions!
