The Awesome Nature of Female Sexual Energy

 

Sexual energy is the essence of the feminine, embodied in a woman (just as consciousness is the essence of the masculine embodied in a man). We live in a non-dual universe, thus sexual energy does not stand alone, it's meant to be merged with consciousness. Sexual energy permeated by the light of consciousness is love, thus woman is the embodiment of love (though it sometimes takes being penetrated by the light of consciousness embodied in a man for a woman to realize she is love - in the same way it often takes woman's love for man to realize his luminosity). In a non-dual world men of course men too have sexual energy, complementing their masculine consciousness.

Being the very essence of a woman sexual energy does not go away. It is the ultimate life force continuously undulating through her body. In Tantra we learn to generate and cultivate sexual energy for healing, rejuvenation and most of all for expansion of consciousness, accessing states of higher spiritual awareness. My sexual energy remains high and all the time - and when I say 'my' I don't necessary mean it personal, I mean the potential of any healthy woman (the flow of sexual energy can be disrupted by a disease or other emotional/energetic blockages). "High" does not necessarily mean the same: As I cycle with the moon so my sexual energy transform with each phase; from innocent and virginal to wild and passionate to lusty and primal to sweet and heart centered to mysterious and mystical to meditative and cosmic, to the head chopping force of ultimate surrender.

Men's sexual energy on the other hand remains pretty much the same: being more attuned to the solar aspect his energy is steady like the rising and falling of the sun day by day. It is through a woman a man can expand a vocabulary of his sexuality. Going through her phases woman can initiate a man into the many different realms of sexual energy - provided she's completely attuned to the flow and comfortable with all the phases without suppression or restriction. Women who no longer bleed can still cycle with the moon (the endometrium still grows in the womb, gets periodically reabsorbed to nourish the heart), most of them however take the solar aspect to become more balanced, enjoying a more steady, luminous flow. It is the time when the mystical-spiritual-cosmic aspect in a woman is very strong and thus woman truly can shine as the Dakini - the portal to higher realms of spirituality, using her light filled sexual energy as a spiritual force. It is perhaps where the gift of woman takes another level - being beyond creating new life in a physical form her fertile energy now creates a new consciousness, birthing a new way of being the world. Her sexual fluids unburdened by procreation entirely nourish her heart she's feeding the web of life with unbound love.

Woman at any stage of life (and her man) can learn enjoy the beautiful gifts of her sexuality; all it takes is a bit of a tuning.

 In the same way men can enjoy and share the gifts of his conscious luminosity - to be the pillar of conscious light, penetrating every dark crevice of his woman to transform her into the radiant love goddess she is and in the same way permeating the darkness of the world to be transformed into garden of love.
