New Traffic Sign! No Left Turn onto Chandler Heights!

A new sign was installed at the Easternmost exit from our parking lot onto Chandler Heights (between Moreno's and Greulich's). As you can see, this prohibits drivers from turning left onto Chandler Heights during school hours. BASIS Chandler's school hours are defined as Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm (see the school website). Please do NOT turn left onto Chandler Heights during these hours. Violating the instructions on this posted street sign may result in NOT being allowed to park, pick up, or drop off students in the school lot.

Left turns are allowed here on all school closure days, such as Labor Day weekend.

We understand that this is a new sign, so BASIS staff have been asked by our property manager to help enforce its message. Thank you for your continued cooperation in following this change.

Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower Challenge

The marshmallow challenge is a simple design exercise for small groups.

It requires essential skills kindergarten students naturally have, and business school students have forgotten.

It teaches valuable lessons on creativity and innovation in our 7^th grade Engineering Class.

• PAYMENT The program accepts payment by Debit Card or Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard & Discover. Be sure to proceed to checkout and process your payment. Items that are left in the shopping cart will NOT be processed and your order will not be included in the service.

• MINIMUM ORDER FEE If your shopping cart total is less than $10, a $1.00 fee will be charged.

Room Sponsorship - ATF Donations

We have our first room sponsorship of the school year. A huge thank you to the Roy-Moder family for donating to the ATF and sponsoring Mr. Cole’s classroom. If you would like to sponsor a classroom and be recognized for it, please fill out the room sponsorship page from the first day packet or reach out to Mr. FritzMiller or Ms. Bryson for more information.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

Reporting Student Absences

If your student needs to be reported absent due to an illness, doctor appointment, vacation, bereavement, religious holiday, etc., please email chdh_attendance@basised.com with the student's name, grade, and reason for absence. Email is the preferred method of reporting an absence, but feel free to call our Front Office at 480-907-6072 if that is more convenient for you.
