ATF WEEK OCT. 31-NOV. 4

Dear BASIS Chandler Parents,

Next week is our Annual Teacher Fund Fall Week of Giving. The ATF is an opportunity for us to recruit, retain, and reward the amazing teachers that make BASIS Chandler the incredible school that it is. The ATF is funded by BASIS Chandler families, and every dollar given to the BASIS Chandler ATF stays at our school and goes to our teachers. Donations are also tax deductible. A chart of how last year’s funds (collected in 2020-2021) were dispersed is included below.

Next week your students will come home with a teal envelope and an ATF form. We ask that you fill out the ATF form and return it to school with your student. Teal envelopes with ATF donations should be turned in to Office 104 to be entered into our ATF Fall Week of Giving ATF raffle. These teal envelopes are in lieu of other fundraisers that some schools participate in for the ATF.

If you would rather make an online donation, please do so by following this link. Your student can still return the teal envelope to Office 104 with a note stating that you donated online.

Our ATF goal this year is $415,793. We ask each family to donate $1500 to support the amazing teachers here. However, we realize that this is not possible for many families. So instead we ask that you make a donation that your family is able to make. So whether your family is able to donate at the $150 level, the $1,500 level, or the $15,000 level, we ask you to contribute to the incredible work that happens at BASIS Chandler so we can keep our amazing, hard-working teachers.

If you are unsure of how much to give, here is a guide that can help:

  • If you’re glad your child isn’t bringing home a fundraising catalogue and begging you to buy overpriced wrapping paper and candles, please donate $25.
  • If you are thankful that you don’t have to take a cookie dough order form to work, and then haul 47 tubs of cookie dough to work with you several weeks later, please donate $50.
  • If you are happy that you don’t have to pledge $3 per lap for a fun run where your student will receive cheap “prizes” that end up sitting on your kitchen counter for weeks, please donate $100.
  • If there is a teacher/class/club that your student just won’t stop talking about, and you know that that amazing teacher is helping to shape your student into an incredible young person, please donate $250.

On behalf of the teachers of BASIS Chandler, thank you for your participation in the ATF Fall Week of Giving.

Sincerely,

Matt FritzMiller                          Karen Bryson

Previous Issue Correction

On the 2021-22 donor list printed in the Paw Print on 7/22, the contribution from Jayden and Sarina Roy-Moder was erroneously posted under the $500+ Supporter tier. Jayden and Sarina Roy-Moder should have been listed in the $5000+ Canopus tier. We apologize for the error.
