Dear BASIS Families,
It's here. The moment we've been waiting all summer for. The first day of school!!! We are looking forward to an amazing year educating the young people who choose to call BASIS Chandler their school. Thank you for being part of this amazing community.

Front Office Hours
The first day of school, August 1st, and for the remainder of the school year, the office will be open 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Early Bird and Late Bird Reminders
Students can come to school as early as 7:00 AM, but must go to Early Bird. All students here for Early Bird enter and exit through the back of the school. Only late students enter through the front.
|
|
Please remember that a waiver and physical are required to participate in all sports tryouts, and physicals are good for one year from completion. If your child plans to participate in a sport this school year, please feel free to get it completed now for the entire school year.

Club registration will begin on Monday, August 8th at 5:00 PM and end on Friday, August 12th at 8:00 AM. You can add clubs to your shopping cart on Blackbaud (formerly SmartForCharters). Clubs will begin meeting the week of August 15th.

This year we have opted not to do the Club Buffet. If your student has questions about what a club will look like outside of the scope of the descriptions provided in the catalog, you can email the advisor listed.

Reporting Student Absences
If your student needs to be reported absent due to an illness, doctor appointment, vacation, bereavement, religious holiday, etc., please email chdh_attendance@basised.com with the student's name, grade, and reason for absence. Email is the preferred method of reporting an absence, but feel free to call our Front Office at 480-907-6072 if that is more convenient for you.
