Battle of the Books Club

On Wednesday, the BASIS Chandler team (Raashi T., Shireen A., and Srinidhi P., pictured) competed with eight other local school teams in the District Finals round of Battle of the Books. The team showed super school spirit and excellent knowledge of the twelve books they'd read this year. Way to go, Bobcats!
Push-Up Challenge

This past week several classes took part in the 3rd annual Push-Up Challenge at school. With over 150 students and teachers participating, a grand total of 19,237 push-ups were completed! A person lifts approximately 64% of their body weight doing a push-up and with an average weight of 140lbs, that would mean the school lifted 1,723,635 lbs. Congratulations to all those who participated, and we hope they were not sore for too long.
