WAPIs come in little packages and can save lives!
Things should not be underestimated because of their small size.
Greetings!
Greetings to all,
As we greet another month of COVID 19 restrictions placed upon the world we continue living with altered lifestyles. One thing for sure, we are all in need of potable water to exist. The World Health Organization (WHO.int) latest calculations state a child dies every 10 minutes from preventable causes. These statistics are more severe than this pandemic has been. With the unavailability of mission-minded people to help in this struggle, this situation only continues and worsens by the day. Though we don’t hear about it via the media, the fact still remains.

If you think that this occurs only in developing countries, think again. I just recently did a water study in my own backyard and found E-coli contamination. Rock Creek is but a small stream that filters into the Clackamas River, which flows into the Willamette River, which flows into the Columbia River, and ends in the ocean. The contamination has not been eliminated, just well dispersed and exposes many people to this potential disease. With warm weather approaching many families will enter these water estuaries seeking "cool off" refreshment. This kind of contamination doesn't just go away.

I conducted some experiments of my own with internationally recognized testing equipment provided by P.H.D. Dr. Robert Metcalf. Following the instructions exactly, I found the results quite alarming. I used 3m Petrifilm and Colilert tubes. Applied 1 ml of water, which doesn’t sound like much, but it shows the tremendous influence that people and animals can obtain by just drinking a small amount of water. To find that much contamination in our stream was an eye-opener, considering children play in this stream during the hot summer months.
Before Pasteurization
Pictured below are 2 vials of river water placed next to each Petrie dish detecting the presence of bacteria. The yellowed vial indicates the presence of E-coli (before pasteurization) and the clear sample shows that contamination has been eliminated through the WAPI process.
Side by Side Results
The Water Pasteurization Indicator (WAPI) is so simple. It works for years as we found out in our visits to Honduras. The people living there use the WAPI and do not get sick from the water anymore.

There are many other ways to eliminate harmful bacteria from water. However effective, the standard set by organizations allows for small amounts of bacteria which should not be acceptable. There are many kinds of filters that must be maintained and theories of ultraviolet and silver-lined blocks that require a certain amount of expertise and measurement. Many developing countries do not read or understand the instructions.

Pasteurization has been a proven method of decontamination of liquid products for many years. In fact, the milk you drink is still being pasteurized. Nothing beats heat to eliminate harmful bacteria, and that's a fact. We have utilized pasteurization since the year 1880.

Pasteurization Completed!
This is a link you can investigate for yourselves. Illustrations of many different ways to purify your water. One way is the water pasteurization indicator (WAPI) that is distributed to underdeveloped countries to let people know when the water has been pasteurized and made safe to drink.

Our WAPI is small and widget size, but it continues to function year after year.
Invest in one or two today!

As we send out this letter today, we are also sending 100 WAPIs to our brothers and sisters in Kenya, Africa, along with a contribution of face coverings donated by Trish Newton, a dedicated volunteer in Vancouver, Washington.

A huge thank you to those who have helped and continue to help make clean water all around the world. Also, many thanks to our generous suppliers who have kept their prices at a minimum allowing us to continue to give these lifesaving devices away to those in need.

If you have any questions or inquiries about the WAPI, feel free to contact us.

Are you traveling overseas or to a different country for a getaway? Take a WAPI for your safety and take a bag of WAPIs to giveaway to the locals.

Going on a camping trip? Purchase a WAPI, this way you won't have to carry so much drinking water.

Consider purchasing one or more WAPIs for emergency use or camping, maybe on your next hunting trip. Give them to your homeless community.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are willing to work with any and all community organizations. Feel free to contact us, together we can make a difference, one thirsty family at a time.

With Warm Regards,
Bob Tait - WAPIs for the World.com
