A Message from the Director of Services
Greetings!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara's annual back-to-school donation drive, The BIG Start, helps equip local youth with the tools and confidence they need for the upcoming school year. It's running now until August 20th!
Last year, we provided 62 youth with a $200 shopping spree and collected over 215 backpacks. This year we hope to beat those numbers! You can help by dropping off supplies at the Niagara Pen Centre, Seaway Mall, PenFinancial Credit Union branches in Niagara, Nearly New Thrift Store, and our BBBSN offices, or donate online today!
On August 22nd, we'll pair youth in our program and on our waitlist with a mentor to go on back-to-school shopping spree. Beyond just supplies, this shopping day gives mentors and mentees a meaningful chance to bond, talk through back-to-school anxieties, and build lasting memories.
Help us help Niagara youth start the school year off right!
Sincerely,
Ashley Sinclair, Director of Services
