Thank You, Lucy
Lucy Longhurst, a local youth athlete, organized and held her own basketball clinics for younger basketball players, charging participants a small fee to participate with the goal of donating the profits to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito.
"When I thought about what charity to donate to, I realized that Boys & Girls Clubs would be perfect!"
Lucy raised and donated $2500 to the club/athletics department. "This taught me so much–leading others, delegating, talking to adults. It was such a big success, I hope to do it again!"
