Small Business Resource Toolkit

Long-term, fixed rate financing of up to $5 million for major fixed assets.

 

The Massachusetts District Office started a new initiative, “504 of the Month” to highlight small businesses that have taken advantage of the SBA 504 loan program to purchase commercial real estate.  

 

The team visited a gourmet kitchen and catering company, Neillio's in the Town of Lexington and met with owner Kevin O’Neill, along with representatives from Leader Bank and New England CDC which helped Mr. O’Neill with buying the building the business has been located in since 2002.

A recent THRIVE Emerging Leaders program participant, Mr. O’Neill shared he learned about commercial real estate ownership and the SBA 504 program after meeting lenders and resource providers as part of the classes he took. 

Congratulations to the Whitin Community Center!


Official Groundbreaking of the WCC Childcare Expansion at their newly acquired Aldrich School building was held Thursday, February 19, 2026.

 

This celebration marks an exciting and historic milestone for the Whitin Community Center, and they are grateful that so many people attended to support the work that they do.

Dairy Promotion Grant Program


The Massachusetts Dairy Promotion Board is responsible for developing programs and policies with the objective of increasing the consumption of Massachusetts dairy products. The Board is soliciting proposals for projects that advance the image, sales of, and demand for Massachusetts dairy products. The Board in conjunction with MDAR to solicit proposals that meet one or more of these goals.

 

The RFR is now open and is due on Monday, March 2, 2026.
