Koopman Lumber Announces CEO Transition for Family Business’ Leadership Team; New CEO Denise (Koopman) Brookhouse Succeeds Outgoing CEO Dirk Koopman in January 2026

Koopman Lumber today announced a planned CEO transition to reflect the company’s three generations of commitment to stability, family leadership, and long-term growth. Effective January 1, 2026Denise Brookhouse will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Dirk Koopman, who has served as CEO since 2010. Dirk will transition into the president’s role, a new strategic position within the company, and Tony Brookhouse will remain in his role as Chief Operating Officer.
