Blessings has distributed over
100,000 bags of food nationwide since COVID-19 school closures.
As little as $4 will help provide one Blessings in a Backpack bag of food for a hungry child while schools are closed.
The current public health emergency has highlighted just how vulnerable 11 million food-insecure children are. Typically, these kids rely on the food that schools provide during the week and Blessings in a Backpack food on the weekends. Now, kids are in need of our help when schools are closed.

This week is Volunteer Appreciation Weekat Blessings in a Backpack.While we applaud and appreciate our volunteers year-round, this week gives us reason to celebrate our amazing program coordinators and volunteers even more!
"During the COVID-19 health crisis, our volunteers have gone above and beyond to continue feeding kids—finding new ways of providing hunger-free weekends while schools are closed," said Brooke Wiseman, CEO of Blessings in a Backpack. "It is an honor to be working alongside you."
We are asking our supporters to send a friendly note to show your appreciation to all of our wonderful volunteers.
Humorology will be presenting a check to Blessings in a Backpack on Instagram Live on May 1 at 5pET. Money raised from this event, which was sadly canceled because of COVID-19, will start a Blessings in a Backpack program in Madison, Wis.

KFC Partners with Blessings in a Backpack to Feed Kids
KFC donates $400,000 to feed children nationwide who are unable to receive school meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In response to the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic affecting families and children, 20% of profits from all sales on KKWFRAGRANCE.COM from April 15th – May 5th will be donated to Blessings in a Backpack.
Take Action INC and Blessings Feed Kids in NW Oregon
When Michael and Janet Huber discovered kids in NW Oregon were stuffing tater tots in their pockets to take home on the weekends, they started Take Action INC to feed kids in their community. Now, they’re joining forces with Blessings in a Backpack!
PGA TOUR's Matt Wallace Donates to Blessings in a Backpack
Matt Wallace donates half his share of the purse from THE PLAYERS Championship to Blessings in a Backpack's First Coast Chapter, wanting to do his part to help one of the local charities that usually would benefit from the event.
