Fast Facts:

A food insecure household has limited or uncertain access to enough food to support a healthy life.

Due to a significant rise in unemployment this year, and a corresponding increase in child poverty, it's projected that ONE in FOUR children struggles with food insecurity.

We are here to help. Click here to learn how you can start a Blessings program to feed food-insecure kids in your community.
Get Involved:

Calling all artists 12 and under! We invite YOU to design Blessings in a Backpack's next t-shirt. Download and print the entry form, draw your favorite thing about school, and submit your design. We'll post our Top 10 favorites on Facebook, and the drawing with the most 'Likes' will win!

Our friends at Spartan Kids Foundation will donate $20 to Blessings in a Backpack for every entry submitted. Click here for contest rules and to submit your entry!
