February 2019

For many of us, it can seem like with each new year comes a new set of challenges. These challenges can make it all too easy for us to fall into our usual patterns; familiar patterns of fear, comfortable patterns of self-doubt.

But with each new year also come three hundred and sixty-five days to prove our doubts wrong—to reflect on the positive decisions we have already made in our lives, and to capitalize on the momentum we have already created within them. With every sunrise we are provided with a new opportunity to be compassionate, understanding, and caring to not only others, but also to ourselves. With every sunset we are provided with an opportunity to deepen our well of strength and resilience.

Through learning, sharing, supporting ourselves, and supporting each other, we can move forward towards another day—one that brings with it excitement, hope, opportunity, and a fuller appreciation for experiences in life, regardless of whatever challenges may also come.
