We wanted to be able to share this new concept of recovery, beyond our Welcome Center doors and with the masses.  Recovery Is Possible: A Mental Health Podcast  will explore topics such as men’s mental health and wellness, youth mental health and wellness, and cultural barriers in the mental health care system. Our purpose with this podcast is to educate that recovery is possible, shift the language of illness into wellness and provide insight to our life-skills-building courses that can create ongoing resiliency and positive mental health outcomes for all.

Using an educational-based approach, Recovery College offers courses to help people recognize and develop their own resourcefulness and awareness in order to support themselves or their loved one's recovery journey.

Family, friends, caregivers, professionals and the general public is welcome to attend our free courses on recovery and wellbeing. No previous experience or education level is required. With more than 30 courses to choose from, there is a course for everyone.

Our Recovery College courses are interactive and create positive learning experiences, emphasizing connection, hope and belonging. An emphasis is placed on an individual's talents and strengths. Our courses inspire optimism, encourage students to consider future opportunities, and move people towards personal empowerment. Recovery is a journey, not a destination.

Josie always made time to support the ones she loved and we hope to honour her legacy by raising money for CMHA Calgary, as mental health awareness is a cause that affects us all.
