THE MARKET IS BACK!
Celebrating Its 45th Season
The Baltimore Farmers' Market reopens on Sunday, April 3, 2022, bright and early at 7:00 a.m.! Many of your favorite farms and vendors are returning this year, along with a new crop of local merchants and artists selling their wares.

Between high gas prices and supply chain issues, we've all noticed grocery shelves have been looking a little sparse lately. But the Baltimore Farmers' Market will be bursting with fresh produce, meat, dairy, flowers, herbs, and more -- straight from the growers and makers themselves. It is as close to farm-to-table as you can get. You will definitely taste the difference.

So come see what's fresh and in season when the 45th season kicks off this weekend. We suggest picking up some fresh baked pastries from La Bohemia Bakery to pair with a piping hot cup of Joe from Zeke's Coffee as you stroll through the Market. And if you prefer to get your morning buzz from tea, visit the folks at SamunTea Shop for fresh blends to brew at home.

The Market takes place rain or shine. No matter what our bizarre Maryland weather does, we look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

One cool thing about shopping for local produce is that you get to know what's in season in your area at different times of year. In the Baltimore area, spring means a lot of greens and root vegetables: asparagus, lettuce, new potatoes, spring onions, radishes, and more.

For the omnivores, farm favorite Albright Farms is back again this year with their fresh selection of beer, poultry, and pork. And South Mountain Creamery is returning with their delicious dairy products -- milk, butter, and ice cream.

If you're looking for something a bit sweeter, keep an eye out for fruit farm Reid's Orchard and honey producers Lindemann's Apiary. And to wash it all down, be sure to stop by Boody Vineyards, Charm City Meadworks, or Sagamore Spirit for locally-crafted libations.

This is just a small sampling of the incredible farms that are joining us for the 45th season. For a full list of participating farms, click below.

We've already mentioned a few of the prepared food vendors, but there are 35 different culinary artists who are joining us this season. From candy apples to kimchi and everything in between, there is something for every palate.

Pick up some popcorn for your next movie night from Delmarva Popcorn & Nut Company... get a seafood snack from The Urban Oyster... or grab lunch from Ekiben on your way home. You also won't be surprised to see other veteran vendors like Cane Collective, HEX Ferments, and The Salad Lady.

Be sure to set your alarm and come out early so you have time to get breakfast AND lunch at the Market. And check out the full list of food vendors below.

What makes the Baltimore Farmers' Market a truly one-stop shop are all the artisans who participate throughout the season. Whether you're looking for a gift or something for yourself, you'll find it at the Market.

For bath & body products, visit Levie's Essential Care and Plant Mama Alchemy. Alexander Elements and NaughtyNaturalsWorld Home Fragrances have you covered on candles. And check out the art available for purchase from Kannix, Dumpling Owl, The Gailery, and Delshan Tyette Art.

There are also vendors who sell hemp products, vintage clothes, upcycled goods, rocks & crystals, jewelry, and more. For the complete list of this season's artisans, click the button below.
