Gracious Greens Fall Harvest
|
Although this has not been the best fall for gardening, our
Gracious Greens project is producing again. We are using the sign-up genius to notify the faithful of scheduled days Sometimes these must be changed because of weather conditions, but you will be notified of this when necessary.
If you are interested in helping, and are not presently on the list, please let the
church office
know. On November 19th, we harvested 169 lbs of greens and have harvested and distributed close to 8,104 lbs of greens with the nine gardens we planted! The greens are distributed to at least five different food distribution sites and reach many folks who appreciate fresh produce. Come join the team and enjoy the fellowship while making a significant contribution.
