May you recognize in your life the presence,
power, and light of your soul.
May you realize that you are never alone,
that your soul in its brightness and belonging
connects you intimately with the rhythm of
the universe.
~ from “For Solitude,” a blessing by John O’Donohue
Dear Friends,
In our Selah service last Sunday, we paused to look at the images from the James Webb Space Telescope. These breathtaking pictures have a way of stopping me in my tracks, inviting me to look up and out, and reorienting my vision. That feels like sabbath. I hope you are finding moments to pause and catch your breath in the midst of all that is swirling around us. I hope you know that you are never alone and that you are dearly loved and treasured by the God who creates it all.
Grace and peace,
Ellen

The Congregational Care Ministry Team of the diaconate is updating the list of those in our congregation who may benefit from visits from the church. We believe we have the names of all those in care facilities, as well as those who are completely homebound. However, we know there are others who are experiencing health or mobility issues that make it difficult to participate fully in the life of the church. If this describes you, or if you know of someone who may fall into this category and might enjoy visits, please speak to Julie Hill or contact the church office.
