Guest Preacher, Rev. Lisa McLennan
This Sunday, January 13th, we welcome the Rev. Lisa McLennan to the pulpit. Lisa is the Admissions Director of Union Presbyterian Seminary’s Charlotte campus and serves as a Parish Associate at Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church. She worked as a registered dietitian for 20 years before answering a call to seminary as a second career pastor. She and her husband Braxton have 3 teenagers, and they enjoy skiing, hiking and watching the Panthers and the Tarheels while tailgating in their driveway.
Congregational Meeting
A Congregational Meeting has been called by the Session for this Sunday, January 13th, at the 11:00 a.m. worship service for the purpose of receiving the 2019 Budget as information and holding the Annual Meeting of the Corporation.
Wednesday Night Fellowship
On January 16th, we invite you to join us at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and casual conversation. While we will still host programs after dinner from time to time, we encourage you to use this informal time to catch up with one another and make new friends. We hope to see you there! Please make your dinner reservations by noon Monday, January 14th.
Menu: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable, fruit, salad, dessert.

On Tuesday, January 15th, Lunch Bunch will take a tour of The Commons, our new Prayer Room, led by Carrie Myers and Hunter Morrison. Please make your lunch reservations by noon Monday, January 14th.
