In our Selah service on Sunday, we were given the opportunity to choose a simple sabbath practice, one small thing that helps us create space, wider margins where we can rest, pause, and breathe. I hope you’re finding some “uncluttered time and space” this week to catch a glimpse of where God is at work.

We will gather at the church and carpool to Asheville. Our primary goal is to visit 12 Baskets Cafe Poverty Initiative in Asheville (Asheville Poverty Initiative). We will bring some needed supplies to the organization and enjoy fellowship there, including lunch and an opportunity to serve and learn.

We plan to stop at Pearon's Falls (or another waterfall), on the way to or from Asheville. The walk to Pearson's Falls (Waterfalls Near Saluda | Pearson's Falls & Glen | Saluda, NC (pearsonsfalls.org)) is just a 1/4 mile. Participants are encouraged to bring $5 for park admission.
