Rally Day
Mark your calendars for  Rally Day on September 9th ! Come celebrate with your church family as we kick off the Fall season! As our Fall programming and the 11:00 o’clock worship service returns, all ages are invited to gather over a delicious breakfast at 9:45 a.m. in Davis Hall to learn about all the educational and faith building opportunities you can experience during the Sunday School hour. The celebration will continue as we worship in one service together at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. As we fellowship together, we will share our hopes and joys for the new church year as we are welcomed home as a faith family.
Blessings of the Backpacks
All children and youth (preschool through 12th grade) are invited to bring their backpacks and join us for a blessing on  Sunday, September 9th  during the 11:00 a.m. worship service! Whether your child has already started school or is starting soon, First Presbyterian Church wants to support them as they start a new year. As we pray for their education and school year activities, backpacks will be blessed, and they will receive a reminder that God is with them -- wherever they are!
Christian Education Workday
The Christian Education Committee has scheduled an all-church workday for Saturday, September 8th  at 9:30 a.m. in Davis Hall. People of all ages are invited to come join the fun as we tidy our church campus for the start of a new church year. We need your help as we help get our classrooms ready and prepared for our teachers and learners. There is a job for everyone and there will be a light breakfast served. We hope you will join us as we rally together to make our church and its classrooms better and brighter for all.
First Youth Fellowship Kickoff
All youth (6th-12th grade) and their parents or caregivers are invited to  First Youth Fellowship on September 9, 5-7 p.m . Come to Davis Hall ready to play, engage, and connect as we learn what this year has in store for us. During this combined time, we will share a meal together and jump into Youth Fellowship! Along with fun, this will be a time where we cover important information and forms for Youth Fellowship.  At least one parent or caregiver should accompany your youth.

FPC Connection Hub
Introducing the FPC Connection Hub! The ramp entrance to the Education building will welcome all to a hospitable space for our church family this Rally Day! Across from the elevator, coffee and muffins will be available Sunday mornings to grab while catching up with friends before faith formation classes. There will be information to take about fellowship opportunities, volunteer opportunities, special events, Christian Education, FPC and community announcements. If you want to get involved in something or have an idea that would engage folks in our congregation, drop a note in the ‘Connection Box.’ We hope this space will help you engage and participate in the life of your church.
Wednesday Night Fellowship
Join us on September 12th as we kickoff our Wednesday Night Fellowship. This fall we will gather for
food, fellowship, and fun! We will dine on some of Jayne's greatest hits as well as deepen our walk of faith together. We'll be exploring many topics central to practices of the church: prayer, food, worship, sacraments, money, service, and community, featuring a diversity of voices leading us to new ways of thinking about these faith practices. Menu: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable, fruit, salad, dessert. Be sure to make a reservation with the church office by September 3rd.
