Each month, Holy Nativity School has an all-school chapel; each class takes a turn at hosting and leading that service. This past Easter Monday, our 1G keiki assisted Rev. Jenn as she taught about and then celebrated the Eucharist. Pictured here are several students receiving communion around the altar. Many thanks to 1G teachers Jenna Kieburtz and Jana Takamura for all their work in preparation for this day!
At the beginning of the service, all of HNS saw a video of the Easter Story made by 1G. We are able to share the link below with our whole congregation. Enjoy! Alleluia!
to enjoy the compassionate goodness of you, our Creator.
We acknowledge with one mind
our respect and gratefulness to all the sacred cycle of life.
Bind us together in the circle of compassion
to embrace all living creatures and one another. Amen.

Sam's last day with HNC will be Sunday April 24th.
The first official Lei Day was In 1927. May Day was seen as the perfect day for Lei Day because many varieties of flowers would be in bloom and it would make May Day a colorful day and occasion. Thus coining the phrase “May Day is Lei Day.”
.
You can support the lei industry here in Hawai'i and buy Lei OR and can make your own Lei by using any of the multitude of beautiful flowers that grow or can be found in the stores.
And don't forget to bust out that Mu'umu'u and that Aloha Shirt and after Church holoholo to one of the many events around town!
