On Monday November 21st Holy Nativity hosted our first Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service, It was a blessed event to be sure! We gave thanks, joined in prayers and communion, and enjoyed beautiful music. Afterwards, we socialized at a reception on the Nave lanai. A wonderful time was had by all!
90 Members and clergy came from several East Honolulu parishes, including:
Calvary Lutheran Church (ELCA),
The United Church of Christ in Hawaii Kai Kilohana Methodist Church in Niu Valley
The Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity
Mahalo to Pastor Bob Isip from Kilohana for his work in coordinating the worship service, and to Holy Nativity staff and the musicians in these several congregations, who brought their talent and their voices to this event.

Please consider contributing to the Holy Nativity Flower Fund to decorate our nave for Christmas. For $10.00, you can purchase a potted poinsettia.
You may make a dedication to be noted along with your name in the church bulletin on Christmas Eve.
After Christmas you can take the poinsettia home to plant.
Watch for the bright red box with Poinsettia forms, or come by the office to order yours!

The Scholastic Book Fair is OPEN - this week
