Mahalo and

A Hui Hou,

Craig Briggs!

We are so grateful to our parish visitor and talented wood-worker Craig Briggs for his wonderful

contributions to the parish this past fall. Craig (who has an additional identity as Rev. Jenn Latham’s dad) was visiting his extended family this fall and joined us weekly in our worship and aloha hour.

Finding we needed some help with wood-working, Craig jumped right in. He refinished the outdoor cabinets that long-time parishioner and choir director Bob Nelson fashioned for us many years ago. He installed wheels on one and replaced the footings on the other, so they can continue to be helpful to us on Sunday mornings for a variety of purposes.

In the nave, Craig installed wooden railings (see below) that will assist anyone in chancel area in making their way up and down our carpeted steps. Finally, Craig made improvements in the Thrift Store, to help them spruce up the shop to be ready for its new year opening on Jan 17th.

After his fall visit through Christmastime, Craig recently returned to his home in North Carolina.

We are so pleased to have gotten to know him and really hope he comes back to visit Rev.

Jenn and our Holy Nativity ohana again very soon!

Aloha, Craig!
