We are posting a brief day by day meditation from Forward Movement. It's a great way to start your morning! Just click on the website icon above.
The 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church is in the books. The House of Deputies reviewed more than 400 resolutions over the course of 4 days, and elected new leadership for the HOD.
It was exciting to be on the floor during the election of the first indigenous clergy woman as the Vice President, and to be watching from the alternate's gallery when the first Latina was elected President.
I hope we can plan a time to share some of the most exciting resolutions that passed over these four days, and to talk more about my impressions.

Camp Mokuleia Kapuakukui Dinner Fundraiser - Saturday, September 3rd
A note from the camp board:
Tickets are still available, and there are some great silent auction prizes! The event will feature live entertainment at a beach setting; it will be a chance to see the Camp "up close and personal." The camp has been recently upgraded, and the staff and board would love to show it off!
I hope we can put a carload or two of folks together to join in the celebration. Please leave a message with Athena in the church office (808) 373-2131 if you are interested to attend!
