Congrats Nicholas!

Holy Nativity Church is very proud to announce that Nicholas Livingston was chosen to be one of two youth from Province VIII as the Official Youth Presence for the 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church to be held in Louisville, Kentucky in June.

Nicholas will join with other youth from the nine provinces of the church to offer their perspectives to the Church at GC81. The Official Youth Presence was established in 1988 and the youth have had an official seat and voice at convention since 1977.

Nicholas is a junior at ‘Iolani School and has represented Holy Nativity Church as a delegate at Diocesan Convention for the past couple of years. He serves as an acolyte, assists with our tech team, and service readings, and is an alumnus of Holy Nativity School.

75th Anniversary Musings

As part of our 75th celebration, we reached out to families and individuals who have long-past ties to Holy Nativity. Many letters were sent far and wide, and we could not have been more pleased with the response.

In the coming weeks, in this section, we will share some of the comments we received, along with their generous donations.

I was baptized at Holy Nativity in 1955 (age 3) by Father Morrett [then] graduated from HNS in 1963, [got] married at HNC in 1972, and two of my daughters went to HNS at one time or another.

I'm so glad she [Holy Nativity] is getting a facelift.
