For our 75th Anniversary we are refreshing our landscaping around our campus and we invite you to be a part of it!
Tom Witten, of PBR Hawaii and Associates, has created a master plan for us, and with the help and advice of Gayna Buranelli, mom of kindergartener Sanoe, we will have a detailed plan for different areas of the campus.
How can you be involved?
Here are some suggestions:
volunteer for one of our “Green Team Work Days” as we remove overgrown plants
consider donating starts from your own garden as we determine what new plants are needed
donate funds for the heavier work that will be needed, like grading and laying pavers or for specific plants - a list of specific needs will be available over the summer
There will be many opportunities for you to be a part of this exciting project so please stay tuned for more details.

All School Chapel
May 18th was another big success!
The kindergarteners, led by Mrs. Kaneshiro and Mrs. Zitz, provided the message for our May 18 All School Chapel.
They shared with us the story of Jesusʻ miracles and the feeding of the 5000, giving us a clearer picture of Godʻs abundance and love for all of us, through Godʻs son Jesus. Jesus tells his disciples, “You give them something to eat.” He doesnʻt make bread magically appear out of thin air; instead he charges his disciples to feed the crowd. They are inspired to go into the crowd to see what food is available and find a young boy who is willing to share. The disciples and the young boy are partners in Jesusʻ miracle. They bring what they have to Jesus and he blesses it and the people. Incredibly there is enough to go around, feeding the whole crowd of 5000 with twelve baskets of left over food.
When we partner with Jesus and respond to his invitation to us to share what we have, holy ground is created, and holy things happen. Godʻs abundance becomes visible; Godʻs love shows up in a tangible way.
May you be blessed this week with Godʻs abundant love, and may you partner with Jesus to share what you have and create miracles together.
Rev. Jenn+
