~Latest Update~
Mahalo to everyone who has sent in a pledge card to give thanks to God for the blessings of life and to assist us in building our church budget for 2025.
To date, we have received pledges totaling just under $100,000, which was our goal.
We know of several households are still in discernment, but planning to pledge. We welcome those intended gifts and we look forward to sharing the final tally with the Vestry in December and the congregation at our Annual Meeting on
Sunday, January 26.
Mahalo, also, to those who assisted with our stewardship program this fall. This group of twelve was the largest to offer help with this effort in many years! --Rev. Libby

Birthdays in the House!
This past Sunday, Nov. 17, we celebrated the birthdays of Beverly Toomey & Mary Martini (seen here with her husband John Kirkpatrick). Beverly is a many-year member of HNC, active as a Sunday reader, Daughters of the King member, and regular contributor to our after-church coffee hour.

John and Mary are new members of our congregation. They have lived in Hawai'i for many years, having raised their adult son here. Mary is a psychologist who is retired from Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawai'i. John is an anthropologist who has conducted research and written about the Marqueses and other Pacific Islands. We welcome them both warmly to our community!
Happy Birthday to all of our parishioners with November birthdays!
In 2025, we look forward to beginning a monthly celebration of birthdays, to enable us to offer blessings to everyone through the year.
