A Gift from the Thrift Shop
delivered to Adult Client Services Branch (ACSB) of First Circuit Court.
A gift of men's clothing (4 bags) went to help those recently released from custody.
Many ACSB clients are released from custody in poor attire, e.g., wearing jail issued clothing or dirty/damaged clothing. Many also lack items needed for basic hygiene. ACSB is initiating a voluntary project to assist these clients as they transition to independence.

Some thoughts from Diocesan Convention Delegate Nicholas Livingston.
This year was my first time going to this convention and I wasnʻt exactly sure what to expect but I enjoyed it very much! There were lots of interesting people there and everyone seemed to be having such a great time that you almost forget that we were there for work. (...) The only thought I really have to add is just how smoothly the convention ran, and that there was rarely any debate on anything and I felt like it really reflected the aloha spirit that we have here in the islands.
On Sunday, October 30th, Nicholas had a birthday! We enjoyed cake and fellowship!
Happy Birthday, Nicholas!
Thank you for celebrating with us!

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this 54th annual meeting of the Convention of the Diocese of Hawai‘i affirms that as citizens, each individual Episcopalian has a responsibility to bear witness in the public square by exercising the right to vote and engaging in civic affairs for the common good.
